Cliff has 16 years of structural drafting and design experience with a demonstrated history of technical expertise in the areas of wireless cell tower structural and foundation drawings, residential house plans, commercial roof systems, specialty mounts, and AutoCAD detail and draft drawings. He is skilled in leading large-scale construction and structural design projects across the continental US, US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico coordinating and training drafting and construction crews for work on wireless telecommunication facilities and towers, as well as projects in the residential, commercial, and solar sectors. Prior to joining Delta Oaks Group in 2022, Cliff’s most recent roles included Senior Structural Designer and Director of Operations where he was responsible for coordinating and leading multiple construction projects, as well as leading the training and mentoring of all CAD designers and operators to ensure a smooth workflow and collaboration between multiple disciplines and departments.
At Delta Oaks
As Director of Maintenance and Construction, Cliff is responsible for managing and coordinating all phases of maintenance and construction services. He leads the development, execution, and enforcement of safety policies and practices to ensure compliance with all Delta Oaks Group, Client, federal, state, and local requirements. In addition, he is responsible for evaluating project specifications to compile work scopes, safety considerations, material requirements while ensuring compliance with design standards, equipment needs, project bids, schedules, and appropriate strategic partner and internal resource allocation to meet project timelines. What attracted Cliff to Delta Oaks Group and Construction was the Company’s dynamic of teamwork and the promise that each day offered new and exciting challenges and opportunities within an everchanging industry.
Education and Certifications
Cliff worked towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA with a minor in Chemistry. Since 2014, Cliff has held his North Carolina General Contractors License with complete of the NASCLA test allowing licensure in over 20 states.
Personal
A Connecticut native, Cliff now calls North Carolina home with his wife and two beautiful children. In his spare time, Cliff enjoys giving back to his community by donating his time to his local youth sports programs for baseball and wrestling, where he served 8 years baseball league president, as well as started the local youth wrestling program. When he isn’t in the office or volunteering in his community, Cliff prefers to spend his time outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, and cooking for his family and friends.
