With a career spanning more than 38 years, Neil has extensive experience within the fields of Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Architecture with a project portfolio that encompasses the commercial, residential, telecommunication, governmental and industrial sectors. As a specialist in forensic engineering investigations, Neil had the unique opportunity to lead a team of 20 forensic engineers after Hurricane Katrina to investigate the structural damages left in its wake and develop solutions to rebuild the devastated communities. Prior to Delta Oaks Group, his leadership and industry knowledge has played a vital role in the development, re-development, and expansion of multiple departments at large engineering firms in the telecommunication industry. In addition, Neil was the owner and operator of a successful structural engineering and design firm specializing in commercial and residential structures consisting of concrete, steel, and wood. As part of a Construction Management firm in Nashville, he also built ambulatory surgery centers throughout the U.S.

As Vice President at Delta Oaks Group, Neil is also responsible for the development and expansion of the Company’s commercial and residential capabilities. His devotion to the mentoring and development of our junior engineers in combination with his multi-faceted industry experience and leadership, has made Neil an invaluable leader at Delta Oaks Group in helping to shape our next generation of engineers. What attracted him to Delta Oaks Group was the hard work and determination of the Owners to create a company that is focused on exceeding the expectations of the clients they serve through a high level of quality and responsive while maintaining a warm internal culture for their employees.
Education and Certifications
Neil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. Neil is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Institute of Steel Construction, American Concrete Society, and Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute. He holds Professional Engineering licenses in 28 U.S. states.
In his spare time, Neil enjoys giving back to his community by volunteering with Meals on Wheels. He enjoys spending time with his family, and he enjoys being outdoors doing activities ranging from golfing to fishing.
