Career

With more than 17 years of industry experience, James has worked in all facets of the tower business and is fluent in all aspects of telecom, broadcast, and civil construction. Starting his career as an entry level tower climber, James worked his way up through the ranks and has operated in nearly every role, including but not limited to, Field Foreman, Field Operations Manager & Safety Director, Modifications Project Manager and Business Development Director. His experience working with broadband, cellular, fiber, small cell, DAS, modifications, inspections, and safety on both the manufacturing and tower owner side lends him the unique perspective on how to address client needs while building on current and future relationships with vendors to overcome the complex challenges of the ever-expanding telecom and utility industry and infrastructure.

At Delta Oaks

James is responsible for the development and execution of the Company’s strategic planning into its next phases of growth and expansion. What attracted him to Delta Oaks Group was the focus and determination that the Company places on building the best team possible to exceed the expectations of the clients they serve through a high level of quality and responsiveness while maintaining a warm internal culture for their employees.

Education and Certifications

James holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University. He is a certified instructor for OSHA 10/30/500/510, Comtrain High Angle Rescue and CPR / First Aid with additional certifications in Ubiquiti / Unifi Installations and RF Awareness.

Personal

Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, James has called North Carolina home since 2015. In his spare time, James enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, camping, or reading a book from his home library. James is happiest when he is honoring his Scottish heritage by participating in the Highland Games.
