Kermit Farrow brings 7 years of experience in site acquisition, environmental due diligence, regulatory permitting, and project management. His expertise includes NEPA and Section 106 compliance, GIS and spatial analysis, visual impact assessment, and coastal and marine resource projects. Prior to joining Delta Oaks Group, he served with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the U.S. Coast Guard, where he contributed to an oceanographic expedition that led to the discovery of the Rice’s Whale, a newly recognized species that advanced marine mammal science.

Education and Certifications
Kermit holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resources – Marine and Coastal from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science Degree in Geological Sciences from Ohio University. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), and holds a Level II: Erosion and Sediment Control/Stormwater certification from NCDOT as well as a Hazardous Materials Level 1 Responder certification (IFSAC). He is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the North Carolina Association of Floodplain Managers (NCAFPM).
Personal
A native of Hatteras Island, NC, Kermit enjoys boating, surfing, fishing, golfing, and following NC State football. He is actively involved in supporting veteran organizations and values time with his fiancée and their two dogs, Finley Rose and Emmett.
